Setup Laravel with Mailtrap

There are a few ways of setting up Laravel with Mailtrap. Some are really simple and some are a little bit harder. In this tutorial, I'll show you how to do it the simple way.

The first thing you will need is a Mailtrap account and a Laravel app.

Once you've got both of those, head over to your Laravel app's .env file. Out of the box it should look like this: The next thing that you will need to do is find the SMTP details for your Mailtrap inbox. They should look like this: SMTP Mailtrap settings The next thing you will need to do is plug those straight into your .env file and you should be good!
